2023 began with snow, upon snow, upon snow! The Nature Center has been literally buried in an ocean of white. Thanks to my neighbor, Bob, the driveway has been kept open. I have shoveled the walks and am trying to unearth, (or unsnow) the picnic tables in Trail’s End Park. Snowshoes are a must for hiking now. We have still had the Home School group coming regularly. The snow doesn’t bother these children! They flourish in deep snow, making snowmen, forts, castles, and of course, sledding. Last week they feasted on Stone Soup.
